My Summer

Image
Hello, Summer is coming to an end! I'm pretty sad about that but then again I love Autumn and Winter, it has my birthday and Christmas and I love all the colours, food and clothes for that season.  Anyway, I'm not talking about autumn and winter now. I'm going to be reminiscing on my summer. So back in May I had my last exam (28th). And the day after my Mum and I went down to Livingstone and I stayed with another family we know and that was really fun, we did loads of shopping and we also went to the cinema. The rest of my family came on the Saturday afternoon, and we stayed till the Monday. The Monday was the 1st of June which is my Mum's birthday as well. After this I had to go back to school for a while. And I started my next stage in school. Then the holidays rolled around (yay)! I helped out at a church lunch and I had so much fun setting out the little sandwiches and cakes. It was such a beautiful day as well. On the 4th July my mum and...

My First Class Train Experience!

Image
Yas, I traveled First Class, does that officially make me the poshest person you know now (probably not)?!?! Hello lovely people. Yes I did travel first class on a train coming back from London to Inverness (8 hrs, and actually more than that due to delays!). And I'm making this because I was very confused when I got onto the train. And I wouldn't want anyone else to be confused (though what I'm about to say is probably a load of mush!) On the virgin trains website it didn't really make it clear what I would get in first class. I was all stocked up on food (which costed an arm and a leg from the station) and the trolley kept going past and offering me stuff and it was only half way through my journey at about Edinburgh I realized that I got all the food, drinks and meals free! (But apparently someone told me that doesn't happen at weekends). So I got my dinner on the train. Sweet Chilli Chicken Skewers. The drinks and snacks trolley came round a f...

How to make my Homemade Iced Coffee

Image
Hey Guys! As it is summer now I've been drinking way more cold drinks. And what's really nice is going to a cafe and a coffee shop and buying a chilled, iced coffee. But sometimes that can be quite expensive, so i have been sometimes making my own and they taste so good! Ingredients  A whole tray of ice A cup of milk Coffee Sugar (To taste,If wanted) Chocolate Powder (If wanted) Vanilla (If wanted) Ginger/Cinnamon (If wanted) Method Take a tray of ice and put it all in a blender. Make a coffee syrup, you can use instant or real, whatever you prefer. I usually make it with instant coffee. I put a spoon of coffee in with a tiny bit of water and it makes a strong coffee syrup. Put the coffee syrup in with the ice along with a cup of milk or more milk if you want. If you want you can add some sugar. You can add some chocolate powder, vanilla or spices whatever you want to make it taste like what you want. I can promise you it tastes amazing! By...

Tea Utensils

Image
Hello! As I keep saying... I am going to do a tea collection blog post. So this is the first part and its some of the things I use for tea (teapots, cups, strainers...). I'm going to apologise in advance for the pictures I'm going to use. I took them really quickly while packing because I remembered I needed to write a blog post for sometime in the holidays! So they are definitely not the best photos I've taken and if you look closely you'll see me in the background of teapots and Windows etc.. 1. My granny gave me this tea pot, it looks really pretty and its got a lot of history. I haven't actually used it yet but I do store some tea bags in it. 2. This came with the teapot (shown above) and I think it's used for hot water or something. I haven't used that either yet. 3. This teapot I do use, and I use it almost everyday for tea. We (my family) also have another silver teapot that we use for tea a lot but I didn't think I needed to ...

What I've been loving this spring!

Image
Hello, don't know if you remember me! It's been too long! But I've finished my exams (I had my last one on Thursday) so I can now hopefully blog now. I thought I could write about what I have been really loving throughout March, April and May. 1.  SMOOTHIES I've been loving smoothies, i have been drinking loads of them during study leave. 2. CANDLES Candles make me feel really relaxed and so much less stressed. And they smell so amazing!!!  3.PENS Yup you read it right! I have been loving pens. The reasons:    A. They are very useful and I need them for my exams.    B. The colourful pens make studying so much better.  C. I have an obsession with stationary, so any thing like this will make me happy :) 4. TWITTER I recently got Twitter and its maybe safe to say that I'm becoming obsessed! For the first few weeks I wasn't really using it but then (unfortunately) during my exams I started using it more, and it can...

Hello and happy new year! I don't think I have posted since 2014 so this is my first post of 2015! Anyway since its going to be February (still can't believe it) in a couple of days I thought I should post something while it's still January.  I was looking through my camera pictures and looking at the pictures I have taken through the month of January. And I picked out my favourites and the ones I am most proud of. This picture I took outside my great uncle Willie's house in Dornach I had to get my Dad to stop the car so I could take this picture, luckily the road was not busy at all! I love this picture so much, I took it outside my great uncle Willie's house in Dornach. I really love all the colours in this sunset and I love the silhouettes! This was taken up at my papa and grannys house it looks really sunny but I promise you it was freezing! I love this picture of the moon! It's just so beautiful. I think this was also taken in D...
